From September 17, Mozyr Oil Refinery will stop for repairs
On September 17, Mozyr Oil Refinery (Belarus) will stop for scheduled repairs. It should end on October 31. This is stated in the message of the Belarusian state concern "Belneftekhim".
On the same day - September 17 - the work of the refinery "Naftan" will be resumed, the repair work on which began on August 9. The State Concern assures, that to ensure uninterrupted supply of petroleum products for the period of stop repairs, the necessary stocks of products are created.
Belarusian refineries are the largest suppliers of petroleum products to the Ukrainian market. According to the "Consulting Group A-95", in the first half of 2017, they accounted for 1,1 million tons of diesel fuel (46% of the market) and 473,5 thousand tons of gasoline (48%).
Mozyr Oil Refinery is part of the state concern "Belneftekhim". The plant began operations in 1975 and was privatized in 1994. The Government of Belarus owns 42,757% of the plant, "Slavneft" - 42,581%, Mozyr Oil Refinery plus, which represents the interests of the company's employees - 12,252%, other shareholders - 2,41%. The capacity of the oil refinery taking into account the work of secondary processes is about 11 million tons per year, the depth of processing is more than 70%.
