"Naftogaz" urged the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine to extend special permits for "Ukrnafta"
NJSC "Naftogaz Ukraine" considers it necessary to extend the validity of special permits for subsoil use for PJSC "Ukrnafta" and supports the efforts of the company aimed at resolving the situation.
This is stated in the press service of the "Naftogaz Ukraine".
"Naftogaz" calls on the leadership of the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine to execute a court decision, according to which the existence of a debt for the payment of national taxes and fees is not a legitimate reason for refusing to extend the period of validity of special permits.
As a result, of the non-renewal of the operation of 9 special permits, already in 2017 "Ukrnafta" may lose about 20% of oil and condensate production and 16% of gas production.
In 2018 the term of action of 27 special permits of "Ukrnafta" is coming to an end, which provide 50% of the Company's oil and gas condensate production.
Recall, June 27, 2017 PJSC "Ukrnafta" stopped production of hydrocarbons at the Anastassiivsky, Rybachy, Artyukhovsky and Korzhevskoye fields in the Sumy region, due to the refusal of the State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine to continue special permits for these deposits. Daily production at these fields is 740 tons of oil and condensate and 803 thousand cubic meters of gas.
In addition, a decrease in the supply of hydrocarbon raw materials, was the reason for the fall in the monthly volume of liquefied gas production at the Gnedintsev GPP in July from 3200 tons to 705 tons (-80%), and at the Kachanovskaya GPP from 6400 tons to 4309 tons (-32,7% ).
