In July, Algerian oil and gas company Sonatrach has reduced the cost of propane and butane fractions by 40 dollars per ton.

According to market participants, Sonatrach prices for propane and butane decreased by 40 dollars per ton in July from 355 dollars per ton to 315 dollars per ton.
Sonatrach prices are an indicator when making deals when selling LPG in the Mediterranean basin and Turkey.
In addition, based on Sonatrach prices, liquefied gas is imported by sea to Ukraine.
According to the consulting company UPECO, in 2017 about 4,8 thousand tons of LPG were imported to Ukraine by sea. The importer of the resource for transshipment in Chernmorsk was "Dji ti Logistics" (part of "Gaztron").
