Sonatrach raised prices for propane and butane in December
Algerian oil and gas company Sonatrach increased the cost of liquefied gas in December contracts.

According to market participants, Sonatrach prices for propane in November increased by 35 dollars per ton from 525 dollars per ton to 560 dollars per ton. In turn, butane rose in price by 2 dollars per ton from 528 dollars per ton to 530 dollars per ton.
Sonatrach prices are an indicator when making deals when selling LPG in the Mediterranean basin and Turkey. In addition, based on Sonatrach prices, liquefied gas is imported by sea to Ukraine.
